Engineering & Design – all under one roof

TRASCO develops highly sophisticated armoring designs: 3D computer-aided design allows virtual development of the integrated armoring cage before manufacturing – precise conformance to the vehicle body, better structural integrity, better aesthetics.

Armoring

Designed in CATIA V5 – before the first cut

TRASCO designs the armor for every vehicle prior to production with CATIA V5, up to the highest armoring levels – based on the 3D-scanned vehicle body. The armoring design is fitted precisely inside the body and finalized before manufacturing begins.

During the armoring process the CAD design ensures that every vehicle is armored identically for its level and model. Our design processes and experience with opaque and transparent ballistic materials – steel, composites and high-quality armored glass – guarantee quality at the level of the vehicle manufacturers (OEM).

Mechatronics

Electric systems, adapted to the armor

Part of the armoring process is the modification of each vehicle's electric system and its adaptation after the armor has been integrated into the body. TRASCO has extensive mechatronic experience across SUVs and limousines, including vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. For sedans and limousines in particular, deep mechatronic know-how is mandatory.

Interior

Individual elegance in OEM quality

Turning customers' wishes into reality is one of TRASCO's core competencies. Individual elegance in design and function, combined with OEM quality, makes every vehicle unique.

The interior is a major part of our clients' quality expectations – proven over the years in numerous armored vehicles with extended wheelbases for Heads of State, usually ordered with custom interiors: single seats in the rear, a partition wall with sliding LED screen, two-tone leather – to mention just a few options.
