The program
From delegation transport to mobile command
Every VIP bus is configured individually: protection level, seating layout, communication equipment and interior finish follow the mission. The armoring concept covers the complete passenger compartment – walls, roof, floor, glazing and access doors as one protective system – while chassis, brakes and suspension are re-engineered for the armored weight.
The program includes electric buses: TRASCO integrates ballistic protection without compromising the drivetrain – a capability proven in our OEM projects.
As OEM partner, TRASCO has armored buses for international vehicle manufacturers – among them Yutong, one of the world's largest bus manufacturers. The certification vehicle shown on this page passed the complete VPAM-BRV 2009 firing program with several hundred documented impacts.
