01 · Engineering

From the first draft to the finished product

Experienced TRASCO design engineers take every OEM project from the first draft through prototyping to the finished product. The engineering department works on up-to-date 3D CAD workstations with CATIA V5 and FEM analysis software: the same toolchain used by the automotive OEMs we supply.

Armoring cages, body extensions and special equipment are developed virtually, validated by stress calculation and prototyped in-house before production starts.

02 · Production

From one-off builds to small series

TRASCO manufactures components, assemblies and completely built armored vehicles, from individual production to small series. Its own specialist departments cover steelwork, surface technology, sheet-metal working, mechatronics, suspension modifications, model making, saddlery and assembly: every discipline under one roof in Bremen.

03 · Certification

Made and certified in Germany

Quality control is a top priority: from driving tests, strength tests and TÜV inspections up to full VPAM certifications, ballistic (BRV) and blast (ERV). TRASCO is a registered VDA member in Manufacturing Group I with its own manufacturer key number, holds the KBA World Manufacturer Identifier W09 and works with processes certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Complete OEM programs have been certified this way: the Volvo XC90 (2018), the Yutong T7 (2017) and the Genesis EQ900L (2017).
