Armored trucks for special units
For security forces and special units
In-house development and manufacturing of a wide range of armored trucks for security forces: for the protected transport of special units, for operations at large demonstrations and in medical transport configurations.
One of TRASCO's OEM references is an armored truck based on the Mercedes-Benz Unimog U5000, developed, produced and certified in a high NATO armoring level. The armoring is designed in CATIA V5 and integrated virtually into the vehicle structure before the first part is manufactured; body and interior are configured for the respective task, for example for the transport of special units or for medical transport.
Transport of special units
The protected body of the version for special units has individual seats with harnesses, a roof hatch and a rear door with window. Development covers the entire process, from the CAD model of the armored cabin to the blast test of the complete vehicle.
Medical transport
In the medical transport version, the armored cabin is combined with an armored medical body and a white patient compartment. The body has a rear double door with ballistic windows and fold-out access steps, a roof hatch, protected windows and ventilation grilles.
Medical equipment such as stretchers is available as an option. The vehicle shown is also fitted with blue lights, a front winch, a snorkel and additional work lights.

Cabins for trucks and construction vehicles
TRASCO protects and armors single cabins for OEM trucks to the requirements of each project, for example for mine clearance vehicles. Various cabin solutions in high armoring levels have been developed, produced and certified for OEM special projects.

Design
Each cabin is designed on 3D CAD workstations with CATIA V5 and FEM analysis software and integrated virtually before manufacturing.

Production
Steelwork, sheet-metal working, surface technology and assembly are carried out by our own specialist departments in Bremen.

Delivery
Cabins are delivered as assemblies or as part of the completely built vehicle, as one-off builds or in small series.
