The new developed TRASCO VIP SUV is based on the new Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and will be unveiled for the first time at the IAA show in Frankfurt. This luxurious vehicle is stretched by +58 cm in total. The rear doors have been extended by +18 cm resulting in an exclusive, large square door design. The cargo area has also been extended by +40 cm. The vehicle is armored in B6 (VPAM level 7). On top, the vehicle provides an armored sliding-roof, an integrated multifunctional partition wall and an exclusive interior which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology like an iMac multimedia center with PC/Wi-Fi/CD/DVD, a Bang & Olufsen Sound system and ambient LED lighting. All relevant functions can be controlled via an IPhone.
The second vehicle to be presented by TRASCO at the IAA 2015 is a stretched and armored limousine with raised roof, based on the latest MB S-Class S600L (V222). The vehicle will also be presented for the first time at the show. The limousine is stretched by +25 cm at every door (+50 cm in total) and has a raised roof by +10 cm which provides an enormous gain of space for its passengers. Large overlapping sections of specialty steel and bulletproof glass are building the TRASCO integrated safety cell so the vehicle provides excellent resistance against firing and even grenades. Certification of ballistic materials of this vehicle has been executed according to B6 (VPAM Level 7). Naturally also many additional standard safety features and equipment such as wheels with run flat inserts or a fire suppressant system are installed.
Like for all TRASCO sedans, new suspension systems have been developed by TRASCO in cooperation with renowned German Automotive Universities in order to carry the additional weight and to maintain typical handling characteristics. The redeveloped suspension system will also be presented on the TRASCO booth in direct comparison to a standard suspension of an unarmored vehicle.
