TRASCO develops the most sophisticated armoring designs and uses 3-D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software which allows virtual development of the integrated armoring cages prior to manufacturing. Our design experts are capable to integrate the various levels of armor perfectly into the existing vehicle structure, ensuring a precise conformance to the vehicle body resulting in better structural integrity and aesthetics in the finished product.

TRASCO designs the armor for any vehicle prior to prodcution with Catia V5 ( CAD-Software), up to the highest armoring levels based on the 3D scanned vehicles body. The armoring design is fitted precisely inside the vehicles body and is designed prior to manufacturing.

During the armoring process the CAD-Design ensures that every vehicles is armored in the same way related to the respective level of armor and model. Based on our advanced design processes and experience with reference to the oqaque and transparent ballistic materials such as steel, composites and high quality armored glass, an OEM-quality can be guaranteed which is leading in the industry.

Part of the armoring process is the modification of the electric system of each vehicle and its adaptation after the armor has been integrated inside the vehicles body. TRASCO has severe experience regarding the mechatronic processes for various SUV´s as well as with reference to limousines, including the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. In particular for sedans and limousines a wide mechatronic know how is mandatory related to the armoring processes.

The interior is a major part of the quality expectations of our clients. We are in particular aware of the same related to the numerous armored vehicles which were build over the years with extended wheelbases for heads of states. These vehicles are orderd usually with custom made interior design such as single seats in the rear, a partition wall including a sliding LED-Screen, double tone leather interior, just to mention a view options.

The suspension components, brake system and chassis ensure safety and padded protection, even during complex driving manoeuvres. No matter how big, heavy or long the TRASCO vehicle is. Due to the same all suspensions for any of the TRASCO vehicles have been reengineered in order to meet the additional payload.
