Based on Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Luxury vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class have been armored in Bremen since 1985. This also includes the latest model V223, which was presented in 2020. The new S-Class from TRASCO is currently being offered with ballistic protection in level 6 A-KIP and in a fully certified level according to VPAM BRV 2009 VR6. Versions in higher protection classes are also possible.

The S-Class is the most requested armored Head of State vehicle in the high-end market. In 40 years of company history over 1000 armored sedans and stretched limousines, armored and unarmored, were built by TRASCO. TRASCO's employees are among the most experienced within the industry, having armored several generations of the S-class in Bremen, Germany, going back up to the W100 Pullman.

Suspension
Brakes

Special manufactured heavy duty discs, calipers and pads are being used due to the increased weight of the armored vehicle, which keep the brake performance and reduce fading for all time safety braking.

Tire and Rims

Due to the weight of the armored sedan or limousine, the vehicle is equipped with special tires with an increased load index.

Rims with special unique design and proven payload include the run flat system for emergency driving with a puncture up to a range of 50 km with 50km/h speed.
